Prom 2009 in Evanston

This Kiessa's last prom she waited her whole life for this day I think. We almost did not have a dress it came in the day before we were to leave for Evanston and had to be altered scarry! She had a good time and now it is over.

Birthday Dinner Divas

Christina and I have our birthdays only one day apart so she decided to come to Grand Junction and spend her special day with me how special. We went to dinner at Carino's which is a Italian place it was nice. Kiessa and Aubrey (Christina's sister inlaw) came with us for dinner it was a fun and special birthday dinner. The next day was my birthday and I got a Wii and the Wii fit from miles and kiessa I have not tried them out yet because I have been sick with a face infection but am on my way to recovery now.

Feburary Fun

Well I am horrible at taking pictures it has never really been a strong suite of mine. However I decided I can still blog and tell what has been happening in our lives. I have been working as a sub for District 51 since Dec. and I am loving it. I really am enjoying the the winter or not so winter here in Grand Junction CO. We moved here in Aug of 08 and Kiessa is graduating this year (a year early) which has been a bit stressful. I am looking forward to having a real summer this year. I have been watching the "Biggest Looser" and have been hooked for many seasons. We all miss having friends and loved one around and would love for visitors LOL. Well I hope this catches all of the followers up for now I will try to be a better blogger in the future even if I don't have pictures.

Denver Bronco's Game

This was Mike and Becky's first professional game. They are the Bronco fans as you can see they loved the game and hope to do it again soon. It was freezing cold and I had to go run laps to reheat my toes regularly.

On Saturday we went to Denver with some friends Mike and Becky from Brigham City, UT. We had a nice dinner at Pappadeaux seafood house Saturday night and then we went to a comedy show it was great fun to spend time with friends.

Lazy afternoon reading

Here is my brother Valgene and my sister inlaw Rachel they came from San Diego to vist me for a few days. We were just lounging around in our PJ's this day. Rachel discovered the Twilight books and is reading the first one. She will be hooked now.

Dinner Diva's

The first night our company arrived we went to Famous Daves for dinner. Brinlynn was my little dinner diva. She is so cute and loves to have her picture taken so we decided to take some pictures while we were there so we could blog later.
